Colombo Marathon will be flaged off from the Ministry of Sports at the Independence Square and will run through Borella , Dematagoda, Peliyagoda, Wattala along the Hamilton Canal, Pamunugama, Thalahena, Pitipana, Duwa to Lewis Place where it will terminate, close to the grounds near the Sea Garden Hotel in Negombo
